Assistant Director of Nursing ADON

Pay

$120,000 - $125,000 /yr. Placement within the wage range is determined by years of experience, qualifications, and demonstrated ability to perform the essential functions.

Responsibilities

• Provide Clinical Supervision for all residents as “day supervisor”
• Handle all In-service Coordination/Educational needs of all departments and maintain in-service records
• Track and monitor accident/unusual occurrence systems as assigned
• Monitor pressure sores and infection control
• Round on all facility residents at least twice a day
• Create schedules for nursing staff/CNA staff for all hours as assigned by the Director of Nursing
• Assist Director of Nursing in organizing and directing day-to-day functions

Requirements

• Must be a Registered Nurse (RN) in good standing and currently licensed by the State or in training to satisfactorily complete the requirements to become a Licensed Nurse
• Previous nursing leadership experience
• Must speak and understand English
• Previous experience in a skilled nursing facility, long-term care facility, or other health care related facility
• Knowledgeable of general, rehabilitative, and restorative nursing and medical practices and procedures, as well as laws, regulations, and guidelines governing long-term care
• Positive attitude toward the elderly
