About the role

The Assistant Director of Human Resources is responsible for overseeing all human resources functions within the organization. This includes recruitment, employee relations, benefits administration, and compliance with labor laws.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee recruitment processes including sourcing candidates, conducting interviews, and making hiring decisions.
  • Manage employee relations, handling grievances, performance evaluations, and disciplinary actions.
  • Administer benefits programs such as health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.
  • Ensure compliance with federal and state labor laws and regulations.
  • Develop and implement HR policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in human resources management.
  • Knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

Pay

The salary range for this position is $50,000 - $70,000 annually, commensurate with experience.

Schedule
