Key Responsibilities
- Aid the food service program in adhering to Oak Park Place policies and federal/state regulations.
- Lead, support, and guide the food service staff to meet quality standards, inventory levels, food safety guidelines, and customer service expectations.
- Ensure the facility maintains adequate supplies.
- Participate in menu planning and implementation.
- Plan, conduct, or arrange for food service staff development and training programs, maintaining relevant documentation.
- Ensure the quality of all food trays exiting the work area.
- Support the facility while complying with policies and procedures that align with Oak Park Place's goals and values.
Requirements
- An Associate’s degree or higher is required.
- A current ServSafe certification is required according to state/county law.
- Experience in long-term care is preferred.
- Two years or more of related dining/nutrition experience is desired.
