Key Responsibilities

  • Aid the food service program in adhering to Oak Park Place policies and federal/state regulations.
  • Lead, support, and guide the food service staff to meet quality standards, inventory levels, food safety guidelines, and customer service expectations.
  • Ensure the facility maintains adequate supplies.
  • Participate in menu planning and implementation.
  • Plan, conduct, or arrange for food service staff development and training programs, maintaining relevant documentation.
  • Ensure the quality of all food trays exiting the work area.
  • Support the facility while complying with policies and procedures that align with Oak Park Place's goals and values.

Requirements

  • An Associate’s degree or higher is required.
  • A current ServSafe certification is required according to state/county law.
  • Experience in long-term care is preferred.
  • Two years or more of related dining/nutrition experience is desired.
