About the role

Manage the day-to-day operation of the accounting office and assist the property Director of Finance and Accounting in providing financial leadership to the business.

Responsibilities

  • Financial analysis and financial reporting
  • Budgeting/forecasting
  • Audit and control
  • Asset and liability reconciliation
  • Cash control
  • Capital expenditure plans (Return On Investment Analysis)
  • Owner relations and owner reporting

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance
  • Minimum 3-5 years as assistant Controller in Hotel

Qualifications

  • Strong functional leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to influence the management team and lead own team
  • Timely report submission
  • Achieve and exceed goals including performance, budget, team goals, etc.
  • Develops specific goals and plans to prioritize, organize, and accomplish work
  • Maintain a strong accounting & operational control environment
  • Generate and review financial reports linked to plan’s financial goals
  • Provide analytical support during budget reviews
