About the role
Manage the day-to-day operation of the accounting office and assist the property Director of Finance and Accounting in providing financial leadership to the business.
Responsibilities
- Financial analysis and financial reporting
- Budgeting/forecasting
- Audit and control
- Asset and liability reconciliation
- Cash control
- Capital expenditure plans (Return On Investment Analysis)
- Owner relations and owner reporting
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance
- Minimum 3-5 years as assistant Controller in Hotel
Qualifications
- Strong functional leadership and communication skills
- Ability to influence the management team and lead own team
- Timely report submission
- Achieve and exceed goals including performance, budget, team goals, etc.
- Develops specific goals and plans to prioritize, organize, and accomplish work
- Maintain a strong accounting & operational control environment
- Generate and review financial reports linked to plan’s financial goals
- Provide analytical support during budget reviews
