About the role
The Assistant Director of Educational Funding plays a crucial role in managing and overseeing educational funding initiatives within the district. This includes working closely with schools to ensure adequate resources are allocated and managed effectively.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategies for securing additional funding sources for educational programs.
- Collaborate with school administrators to assess funding needs and allocate resources efficiently.
- Monitor and report on the financial status of educational programs to ensure compliance with district policies and state regulations.
- Prepare and present budget proposals to the district board of education.
- Oversee the management of existing grants and contracts to maximize their impact on educational outcomes.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in education, business administration, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of experience in educational funding or a related field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

- Knowledge of federal and state funding sources and eligibility criteria.
- Experience with grant writing and proposal development.

Pay
Salary range: $50,000 - $70,000 annually.
Schedule
Full-time position, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM.
