Responsibilities
- Hiring of qualified hospice personnel
- Direct provision of hospice services
- Delegation to and coordination of hospice personnel evaluations
- Establishing standards of care to comply with federal and state regulations and guidelines
- Implementing policies, procedures, and best practices for operations
- Maintaining oversight of nursing staff performance and addressing any Quality Assurance (QA) issues
- Supporting clinical policies and procedures
- Aiding the Director in identifying and resolving nursing department deficiencies
- Monitoring the implementation of correction plans
Qualifications
- A strong leader with impeccable organizational, strategic, analytical, and project management skills
- A solid communicator with exceptional interpersonal skills and a proven ability to motivate, mentor, and influence others
- Five (5) years of experience in the healthcare industry preferred
- Two (2) years of experience working in leadership roles
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state(s) of practice, in good standing
Pay
$103,000 - $110,000 plus bonus opportunities
