About the role

The Assistant Director of Clinical Services at Brighton/Suncrest Hospice is responsible for providing overall direction to the hospice clinical team. Key responsibilities include hiring qualified hospice personnel, overseeing the provision of hospice services, evaluating nursing staff performance, and ensuring compliance with regulatory guidelines.

Responsibilities

  • Implement policies, procedures, and best practices for operations.
  • Maintain oversight of nursing staff performance and address any Quality Assurance (QA) issues.
  • Support clinical policy and procedure development.
  • Aid the Director in identifying and resolving nursing department deficiencies.
  • Monitor the implementation of correction plans.

Requirements

  • A strong leader with excellent organizational, strategic, analytical, and project management skills.
  • A solid communicator with exceptional interpersonal skills and a proven ability to motivate, mentor, and influence others.
  • At least 5 years of experience in the healthcare industry, with 2 years of experience in leadership roles.
  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state(s) of practice.

Qualifications

  • Experience in hospice care is preferred.
