About the role
The Assistant Director of Academic Programs supports the Director of Academic Programs in managing and coordinating the school’s academic operations, ensuring smooth implementation of curriculum, assessments, and scheduling processes. This role is integral to fostering a culture of academic excellence and ensuring the success of our students.
Responsibilities
- Maintain registration activities
- Coordinate curriculum and assessments
- Review and manage assessment results, including: Benchmarking Exams, ISA Exams, State-required assessments, Pre-Comprehensive and Comprehensive Exams, AP Exams, PISA Exams, PSAT, SAT and ACT, and the Primary Benchmarking Assessment (FastBridge)
- Monitor student academic performance through grade reports
- Audit student transcripts and graduation requirements
- Manage report card printing and distribution
- Assist with master schedule development
- Coordinate with Director of Student Affairs/College Counselor for transcript audits and graduation requirements
- Manage teacher grade books
- Construct and review Schoology iPlanners for teachers
- Review and ensure consistency of teacher instructional tools and syllabi with school processes and procedures, including grading policies
- Manage student, course, bell, and teacher schedules
- Develop and coordinate course catalogues
- Manage student and parent hours schedules
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree
- Valid Identity Verified Prints (IVP) Fingerprint Clearance Card
- Demonstrated passion for student achievement and directed effort to raise individual student outcomes

Starting Salary is negotiable dependent on education and experience.
