Responsibilities
- Innovates and implements legal technology initiatives aligned with Firm objectives.
- Coordinates cross-functional teams to ensure successful adoption and integration of new technologies.
- Advises on risks, delays, and adoption challenges, providing data-backed recommendations.
- Develops and executes adoption strategies to make solutions intuitive and embedded in daily legal work.
- Designs and implements enablement and training plans in collaboration with Knowledge Management, Legal Project Management, Practice Technology, Operations, and external partners.
- Addresses resistance and drives sustained behavior change among users through data and feedback.
- Serves as the primary coordination point for Innovation, Technology, Knowledge Management, Legal Project Management, Operations, and external partners.
- Ensures clear ownership, governance, and sustainability plans for all delivered solutions.
- Tracks adoption, usage, and outcomes of initiatives against defined objectives and prepares insights for leadership.
- Communicates consistently about innovation initiatives and workflow changes to practice groups during rollouts.
- Manages and coordinates the work of a team supporting innovation delivery.
- Establishes repeatable execution and adoption playbooks and performs other duties as assigned or required to meet Firm goals and objectives.
Qualifications, Experience and Personal Attributes
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field required; advanced degree preferred.
- A minimum of 6 years of demonstrated experience delivering technology-enabled change within a complex professional services environment, with law firm experience preferred.
- Expertise in legal technology and AI tools.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, able to communicate effectively and professionally with all levels of the Firm and outside vendors.
- Ability to work in a diverse team environment and effectively support the demanding needs of the Firm.
- Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines with shifting priorities, and act as a self-starter with a high level of initiative.
- Strong customer service skills, able to anticipate needs and exercise independent judgment.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to handle multiple projects.
- Maintains confidentiality and exercises discretion.
- Exercises solid strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Manages processes for direct reports in regards to performance appraisals, annual compensation, goal setting, and performance counselling.
- Conducts analysis of staffing levels and participates in the recruitment process.
- Manages and coordinates the work of a team supporting innovation delivery.
- Establishes repeatable execution and adoption playbooks and performs other duties as assigned or required to meet Firm goals and objectives.
Education/Training/Certifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field required; advanced degree preferred.
