Responsibilities

• Assistant Director: Reinforcement of the Core Values and Mission Statement of The Little Gym, understanding the philosophy and program, and communicating information accurately and professionally to team and customers.
• Teaching: Teach amazing gymnastics classes based on our proven curriculum and teaching method (training provided). Teaching is your job — you need to love what you do, so you need to love to teach!
• Customer Service: Providing outstanding customer service and membership experience. We treat our members like family here. We respond in professional ways, but with a personal touch, every time.
• Office Tasks: Including answering phone calls, texts, emails, Instaply, voicemail, and walk-in inquiries.
• Public Speaking: Sharing knowledge of all the programs and events we offer.
• Cleaning: Maintaining a clean and safe environment by cleaning equipment thoroughly.
• Scheduling: Mornings, afternoons, evenings, and weekends are all possible shifts — this is not a 9-to-5 role.

Qualifications

• You love having fun, like giving high-fives, and can play like a child! (A background in child development, physical education, and/or gymnastics helps as well)
• You live to serve! Making others feel good makes you feel good.
• Kids really like you, but their parents really like you too.
• You were voted most likely to be in a good mood by your high school classmates.
• You love to have fun, but you know when to buckle down and do work.

Schedule

30–35 hours per week. Friday and Saturday are off days. Shifts may include mornings, afternoons, evenings, and weekends.

About the company

The Little Gym is the world’s premier enrichment and physical development center for children ages 4 months through 12 years. Programs offer children a Springboard to Life’s Adventures by using movement-based learning and imaginative play to help build the confidence and skills needed at each stage of childhood. For over 40 years, our trained instructors have nurtured happy, confident kids through parent/child classes, gymnastics, dance and sports prep, plus enjoyable extras like camps, Parents’ Survival Nights, skill clinics, and Awesome Birthday Bash parties.

All associated locations are independently owned and operated by a franchisee. This position is with Somersault Operating, which currently has 30 The Little Gym locations spread across 8 states (SC, NC, VA, TN, PA, NJ, WA, CA), with multiple new locations scheduled to open in the coming years. Your application will go directly to the franchise Somersault Operating, and all hiring decisions will be made by the management of that franchise. All inquiries about employment at this franchise should be made directly to Somersault Operating, and not to The Little Gym Franchising Corporate.

$19.00 – $21.0
