Assistant Director
About the role
As the Assistant Director, you will partner with the School Director to ensure the safe, effective operation of the school and achieve Learning Care Group’s safety vision. In the Director’s absence, you will have sole responsibility for the school. You will assist in promoting the social, physical, and intellectual growth of the children while fostering an educational, caring, and safe environment for children and parents.
Responsibilities
- Ensure the school operates in accordance with company and state licensing standards.
- Foster an educational, caring, and safe environment for children and parents.
- Spark imagination, build self-esteem, and help children discover new things each day.
- Promote the positive image of the company and play a major role in making the company a provider of choice in the community.
- Recruit, select, and retain quality staff.
- Help achieve profitability for the company.
Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Previous leadership experience and at least 1 year of experience working in a licensed childcare facility.
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Must meet state requirements for education and our center/school requirements.
