Responsibilities

• Ensure the safe, effective operation of the school alongside the School Director
• Assume sole responsibility for the school in the Director’s absence
• Promote the social, physical, and intellectual growth of the children
• Ensure the school operates in accordance with company and state licensing standards
• Foster an educational, caring, and safe environment for children and parents
• Spark imagination, build self-esteem, and help children discover new things daily
• Promote the positive image of the company and help make it a provider of choice in the community
• Recruit, select, and retain quality staff

Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Must have 2 years of Assistant Director experience in a licensed child care facility
• Associate’s Degree in Early Childhood Education (ECE) or related field is preferred
• Must meet state requirements for education and our center/school requirements
