About the Role
The Assistant Dining Room Manager ensures that an exceptional dining experience for our residents and guests. This role provides hands-on dining room management of all front-of-house serving staff. Our restaurant and café function similarly to a hotel or private club restaurant and/or café.
Responsibilities
- Provide hiring, training, leadership, counseling, and oversight of all serving staff
- Participate directly in daily operations: managing, serving, and cleaning under the direction of the Director of Dining Services
- Responsible for overall front-of-house operations to ensure a memorable dining experience
- Work as a team with kitchen staff, overlapping responsibilities as needed to ensure exceptional service to residents and guests
Requirements
- Previous server and staff management experience in a restaurant-like setting
