Assistant Diagnostic Imaging
About the role
The Imaging Assistant is responsible for providing clerical support such as answering phones, computer work in Microsoft Outlook and Office, entering x-ray orders in Epic and operation of the Picture Archiving and Communication system. The Imaging Assistant also greets patients, assists them and their parents with any questions about the procedure, and provides the appropriate Medication Reconciliation and MRI Safety screening forms.
Responsibilities
- Answering phones and performing computer work in Microsoft Outlook and Office
- Entering x-ray orders in Epic
- Operating the Picture Archiving and Communication system
- Greeting patients and assisting them with any questions about the procedure
- Providing Medication Reconciliation and MRI Safety screening forms
- Performing any other routine duties assigned by the Manager

Qualifications
- Essential: High School Diploma Graduate or Equivalent
- Nonessential: 1 Year job experience as Staff Level with specialization in the field of Imaging Diagnostic

Salary commensurate with experience.
Schedule
Full-time on the Day Shift, 5 8 hour shifts.
