About the role

This position trains and develops Product Sales Specialists and ensures customers receive exceptional customer service and product information. Key responsibilities include supporting store operations, managing a fast-paced environment, and performing managerial duties.

Responsibilities

  • Open and close the store in an effective manner
  • Complete managerial responsibilities such as storage buy audits, markdown approvals, overrides, and cash office functions
  • Ensure store presentation standards are met and maintained
  • Lead morning huddles, execute Power Hours, and function as a CARE Manager
  • Guarantee safety and security by following loss prevention and risk management guidelines
  • Communicate standard operating procedures to all associates in a timely manner
  • Stock and tag merchandise displays as required
  • Answer the telephone according to accepted guidelines
  • Follow established cash, check, and charge card acceptance procedures

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 1 year of customer service/sales experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal & written)
  • Ability to exercise independent discretion and judgment in managing a fast-paced environment

Qualifications

  • Thorough understanding and compliance with company’s safe lifting practices
  • Thorough understanding of merchandise and installation
  • Knowledgeable about standard operating procedures and able to communicate changes to associates
  • Proficient in industrial truck (forklift) proficiency testing and certification
  • Ability to lead morning huddles, execute Power Hours, and function as a CARE Manager

Store Hours: Monday - Friday 7:00 AM - 8:00 PM, Saturday 8:00 AM - 7:00 PM, Sunday 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM
Pickup Hours: Monday - Friday 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM, Saturday 8:00 AM - 7:00 PM, Sunday 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM
