Assistant Corrosion Project Manager
About the role
The Assistant Corrosion Project Manager will coordinate work of single or multidiscipline teams throughout the project’s life cycle, responsible for many aspects of a small project or a single aspect of a larger project. They will conduct analyses to develop chemical or process related design options or recommendations and assist in the preparation of project deliverables.
Responsibilities
- Cook up and compile field data
- Write reports and technical memorandums
- Perform assessments on pipelines and concrete structures
- Enter confined spaces
- Work near traffic
- Work in wastewater structures
- Frequently travel nationally for field work
- Receive classroom and hands-on training
- Perform routine engineering assignments
- Work independently on small projects or assist more-senior engineers / professionals on larger projects
- Perform other duties as needed
Requirements
- A solid understanding of corrosion mechanisms and materials science
- Experience in project execution within the Oil and Gas, Chemicals, Mining, Food and Beverage and/or Industrial Markets
- MS Office and MS Project experience (Access experience would be plus)
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering
- 5 years related experience
- Professional engineering license recognized by the licensing board for the location of the position offered

- Computer skills in Microsoft Office as well as standard Chemical / Process design software

Salary range: $75,000 - $100,000 annually
