Assistant Coordinator Day Hospital

About the role

Provides supervision, support, and direct care to Behavioral Health clients with Severe and Persistent Mental Illness. Located at Hunterdon Healthcare System Inc., 2100 Wescott Drive, Flemington, NJ.

Responsibilities

• Assists with the Administration of Day Hospital.
• Supervises staff in coordination with the Director and Coordinator of the Day Hospital.
• Maintains and monitors JCAHO standards and DMHAS specialty regulations, Medicaid Regulations, and HBH policy & procedure.
• Provides direct care.

Qualifications

• Education: Required: Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology, Counseling or related field; Preferred: Master’s Degree in Psychology, Counseling or related field.
• Experience: Required: 5 Years of Experience working with people with Severe and Persistent Mental Illness; Preferred: 2 years Supervisory Experience.
• License/Certification: Required: Valid driver's license; Preferred: None.
• Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: De-escalation Techniques, Group Therapy expertise, Ability to work with people with severe and Persistent mental illness. Clinician demonstrates knowledge of evidenced based practices in the provision of care included but not limited to: Motivational Interviewing (MI), Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), and Universal Screening for SUD.

Pay

The hiring range listed is the potential base compensation that may be offered to a successful applicant for this position at the time of this job advertisement: $72,928.87 - $91,161.09 annually. When determining an applicant’s hourly rate and/or base salary, several factors may be considered as applicable (e.g., years of relevant experience, education, internal equity, and specialty).

Schedule

Full-time, Monday–Friday, 8:00 am–4:30 pm, Day shift.
