Assistant Cook - Floater

About the role

Floater Assistant Cook role covering multiple school kitchens as needed. Assigned hours and location vary; typically 3.5 hours per day.

Responsibilities

• Assist in food preparation, cooking, and presentation under established recipes and guidelines.
• Set up and break down kitchen stations, ensuring cleanliness and sanitation standards.
• Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
• Assist with inventory control and restocking supplies as directed.
• Support meal service during assigned shifts.
• Adapt to varying kitchen environments and team structures as a floater.
