Responsibilities
- Perform monthly financial close functions through preparation of financial statements for each designated operating location.
- Reconcile all general ledger accounts.
- Provide monthly narrative analysis of significant financial variances to budget and forecast.
- Complete a three-month financial forecast monthly.
- Conduct rate analysis and review.
- Communicate financial-related information effectively to business counterparts.
- Manage flow of accounting data to/from decentralized field operational offices.
- Assist with quarterly Sarbanes Oxley compliance and review.
- Plan and participate in the annual financial budget process.
- Provide training to non-financial personnel on internal control compliance, accounting procedures, and financial statement review.
- Some travel and potential for relocation opportunities.
Requirements
- BS/BA degree in Accounting.
- 2 years of public accounting experience strongly preferred.
- Intermediate to advanced skills in MS Excel and related accounting business systems.
- Proven excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
