About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Assistant Controller who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and enjoys improving processes, partnering with operations, and helping build a world-class finance organization.
Responsibilities
- Lead and support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close
- Prepare financial statements, reconciliations, and technical accounting analyses
- Oversee inventory, cost accounting, manufacturing variances, and standard costing
- Partner with Operations, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Project Management to improve profitability and inventory accuracy
- Support external audits, tax reporting, cash management, and treasury activities
- Help strengthen internal controls and contribute to public company readiness initiatives
- Drive process improvements, automation, and ERP reporting enhancements
Requirements
- 5–8+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Strong U.S. GAAP knowledge
- Manufacturing, inventory, and cost accounting experience
- NetSuite ERP experience
- CPA preferred
- Oil & Gas, industrial manufacturing, or engineered products experience is a plus
