Responsibilities
- Oversee the month-end close process and ensure financial results are completed accurately and within established deadlines.
- Manage cash flow and liquidity planning, including preparation and maintenance of a rolling 13-week cash forecast.
- Review journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, financial statements, and supporting account analyses.
- Provide leadership and oversight to accounting personnel, including accounts payable and general accounting team members.
- Support the preparation of accurate and timely internal and external financial reporting.
- Coordinate audit requirements and assist with year-end and other financial reporting activities.
- Oversee and support accounting activities related to consolidations, intercompany transactions, fixed assets, and lease accounting.
- Strengthen internal controls and identify opportunities to improve accounting policies, procedures, and workflows.
- Partner with finance and executive leadership on budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
- Support acquisition integrations and other strategic accounting and finance initiatives as the organization continues to grow.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required.
- 8+ years of progressive accounting experience with a strong background in month-end close and financial reporting.
- Previous experience leading, managing, and developing accounting team members.
- Strong knowledge of general ledger accounting, financial statement preparation, account reconciliations, and cash management.
- Experience working in a growing, fast-paced, or evolving organization preferred.
Pay
$140,000–$160,000 + discretionary bonus, depending on experience.
