Assistant Construction Manager

About the role
This on-site position (5 days per week) supports the construction of new home communities in Carmel, New York. The Assistant Construction Manager inspects jobs in process and at completion to ensure workmanship, safety, and compliance with all legal and quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Inspect jobs in process and at completion
- Schedule and oversee subcontractors and laborers
- Obtain all required permits and order building materials
- Schedule required building inspections
- Conduct pre-settlement inspections
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of related experience, including scheduling, ordering, field supervision, quality control, and production of all phases of residential construction
- Thorough knowledge of all construction trades
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record

- Knowledge of BuildPro software
