About the Role

This position supports the Community Outreach & Engagement Coordinator with facilitating various activities within the Opioid Prevention Program. The Assistant Coordinator will assist with program planning, mentorship, and creating a safe and engaging environment for participants, working with adults and youths to promote personal growth, skill development, and positive social interactions.

Responsibilities

  • Research and identify community resources related to program workshop topics, including healthy relationships, financial literacy, substance use prevention, job readiness, and stress management.
  • Co-facilitate or facilitate workshops and activities as directed by the Director.
  • Provide transportation to external forums, trainings, and workshops.
  • Offer mentorship to help individuals build self-esteem and confidence.
  • Attend weekly supervision and staff meetings.
  • Remain current with all agency-required compliance documents and trainings.
  • Perform other tasks as assigned by the Community Outreach & Engagement Coordinator.

Requirements

  • Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • At least two years of case management experience in a similar role.

Schedule

Tuesday – Saturday; 11:00 AM – 7:00 PM

Pay

$42,500 per year.
