About the role
The Assistant Community Manager/Occupancy Specialist supports daily operations and financial performance of HUD-assisted and/or LIHTC communities, ensuring regulatory compliance, resident satisfaction, and effective leasing and occupancy management in the absence of the Community Manager.

- Ensures regulatory compliance
- Fosters resident satisfaction
- Manages leasing and occupancy effectively
- Works in the absence of the Community Manager
Requirements
- Hold an Associate’s degree or equivalent from an accredited school OR have 6 months of experience OR have an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Possess a valid Driver’s License with access to a registered and insured vehicle
- Must be a Certified Tax Credit Specialist, Certified Occupancy Specialist (HUD), or equivalent within 18 months of hire
- Real Estate License must be obtained within 9 months of employment
- Certified Assisted Housing Manager, Certified Tax Credit Specialist is preferred
