About the role

Lions Gate North has an immediate opening for an experienced Assistant Community Manager. The Assistant Community Manager plays a critical role in our success, supporting and assisting the Community Manager in overseeing and managing the financial and operational facets of the community.

Responsibilities

  • Collecting and posting rent, fees, and other payments, preparing daily bank deposits and processing invoices and payables.
  • Staying up to date on rent assistance policies and programs from federal, state, and local governing offices.
  • Assisting the leasing team in touring apartments with prospects, both virtual leasing and in-person tours.
  • Reviewing and submitting invoices from vendors, contractors, and service providers for payment.
  • Processing resident move-outs by reviewing lease terms and notice requirements and processing the disposition in accordance with established procedures and legal requirements.
  • Responding to resident questions, concerns, and requests in a timely manner, and taking appropriate action to resolve and address service issues.
  • Partnering with the on-site office team and marketing team to create safe, social distant activities and events for residents.
  • Acting as the on-site supervisor in the absence of the Community Manager.

Requirements

  • Previous property management experience is required, fee management preferred.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite and Yardi/OneSite software highly desired but not required.
  • Financially savvy, with previous experience in creating/adhering to budgets and fiscal reporting.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to read, write, and communicate effectively.
  • High level of professionalism in both manner and dress.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent and professional knowledge of business discipline are required.

Pay

The hourly range for this position is $26.75 - $28.75. Many factors go into determining employee pay within the posted range, including business requirements, prior experience, current skills, and geographical location.

Greystar offers a range of benefits, including flexible scheduling and generous paid time off. The specific schedule for this role will be determined by the hiring manager and may include evening or weekend hours.
