Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Aid in directing and supervision of maintenance, janitorial, and housekeeping
- Aid Manager in inspecting the physical exterior and make recommendations for necessary improvements
- Create and maintain a company direction that fosters loyalty, team spirit, and unity among all employees
- Assist Manager in supervising any leasing activities
- Maintain a current knowledge of area competition and market trends
- Periodically report to Manager after visiting surrounding competition
- Complete or oversee the completion and accuracy of weekly activity reports
- Complete or oversee the completion and accuracy of all rental applications and recording of all rental and leasing activities
- Aid Manager in training of any on-site leasing personnel
- Aid Community Manager in the reporting, assigning, and recording of all resident activities
- Assist Manager in handling resident requests and communicating with them
- Collect, receipt, and record all collections
- Ensure the completion and accuracy of all month-end reports on income and leases
- Daily record and report all bank transactions
- Handle delinquent accounts and ensure legal filings until eviction is complete under Manager's direction
- Perform other duties as assigned
Education And Work Experience Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Some college education preferred
- 1 - 2 years of property management experience or equivalent business experience
- 1 – 3 years of experience in leasing, sales, hospitality, or customer service
Specific Job Knowledge, Skill And Ability
- Ability to interact with other employees, residents, and demonstrate good communication skills
- Ability to take directions and corrections from supervisors and improve from feedback
- Strong accounting and budgeting skills
- Ability to assess current market status and develop interest in new marketing and leasing strategies
- Ability to assume Manager responsibilities in absence of Manager and demonstrate knowledge of all Manager duties
- Professional appearance and flexibility to work on the property with other employees, residents, and prospective clients
- Ability to multitask
Pay Range
Pay Range: $21.00 - $22.00
