Assistant Community Director

Responsibilities

  • Own the renewals process — proactively engage residents before leases expire and drive renewal rates
  • Manage collections and delinquency — follow up on late payments professionally and decisively
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for resident relations and issue resolution
  • Cook up work orders with the maintenance team and ensure follow-through
  • Plan and execute community events to drive resident engagement and retention
  • Step in to run daily operations when the Community Director is unavailable
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation across all functions

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of property management experience required
  • Strong communicator — in person, by phone, and in writing
  • Proven track record with renewals and collections
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and moves with urgency
  • Authorized to work in the United States

Compensation

$45,000 - $55,000/year
