Assistant Coach - WR/DB Emphasis

About the role

The Assistant Coach - WR/DB Emphasis position is responsible for developing and implementing strategies to improve the skills of wide receivers and defensive backs on the football team.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement training programs for wide receivers and defensive backs
• Work closely with the head coach to design game plans that maximize the strengths of the team's WR/DB players
• Provide individualized feedback and coaching to players to help them reach their full potential
• Attend all team practices and games
• Collaborate with other coaches and staff to ensure a cohesive approach to player development

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in sports science, education, or a related field
• Minimum of 2 years of coaching experience at the high school or college level
• Experience working with wide receivers and defensive backs
• Strong understanding of football strategy and tactics
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Qualifications

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Passion for coaching and mentoring young athletes
• Knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations

Skills

• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Proficient in using video analysis software
• Ability to motivate and inspire players
