Assistant Coach, Men's Heavyweight Crew

About the role

The Assistant Coach, Men's Heavyweight Crew will assist the Head Coach in running a successful crew program. Duties include recruiting, administration, weekly practice sessions, budget management, alumni stewardship, scheduling of competitions, team travel, counseling of students, and ensuring compliance with NCAA and conference rules and regulations.

Requirements

• Five years of rowing and/or coaching experience, preferably at the Division I level
• A Bachelor's degree
• Administrative, interpersonal/communication skills and computer skills
• Appropriate certifications in First Aid, CPR, AED, and Biohazards within an appropriate time of hire

Preferred

• Proven experience in recruiting to a highly selective institution
