Assistant Coach, Men's Basketball

About the role

This position will help lead the men's basketball program based around our athletic department core values.

Responsibilities

• Attract student-athletes who align with our rigorous academic standards and core values
• Practice and game planning execution
• Develop daily practice plans
• Innovative statistical analysis
• Build a championship culture for the program
• Create and coach a full slate of college games in Florida
• Lead player mentorship and work with student-athletes to develop a mentorship program
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and professional experience
• Experience as a program builder
• Strong communication and recruiting skills
• Strong organizational skills
• Positive influence
