Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Sports Administration or a related field.
- Two (2) years coaching experience at a Division I Men’s Basketball Program.
- Knowledge of NCAA and ACC rules and regulations.
Responsibilities
- Assist the Head Coach in the overall coordination and execution of the University’s Division I intercollegiate Men’s basketball program.
- Identify and recruit qualified student-athletes.
- Develop skills of student-athletes, assist in preparing practice plans, and implement practice plans.
- Promote an atmosphere of compliance within the program through strict adherence to NCAA, ACC, and University rules and regulations, including monitoring of program activities, active involvement, and commitment to continuous rules education, timely submission of compliance-related documents, and immediate reporting of any knowledge of potential rules violations.
- Prepare scouting reports on all opponents.
- Evaluate and recruit prospective student-athletes.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Head Coach.
Preferred Qualifications
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
