Responsibilities
- Assist the Varsity Head Coach with all aspects of the Spring Lake Park Cross Country program
- Set up practices, meets, and schedules for the program
- Supervise athletes at practices and meets
- Maintain program equipment
- Arrange team transportation
- Work with booster club and attend regular meetings with other coaches to evaluate program goals
- Adjust work schedule for practices and meets
Requirements
- Strong background in high school, college, or competitive Cross Country as a participant and/or coach
- Strong work ethic and dedication to furthering the benefits of participation in co-curricular activities
- Leadership skills including organization, vision, motivation, and conflict resolution
- Ability to work with student athletes, parents, staff, and community
- Previous experience as an athlete and/or coach
Qualifications
BA/BS Degree and MN Teacher License with coaching certificate highly preferred.
Pay
$4,130 stipend (may be pro-rated based on FTE of assignment).
