About the role
The successful candidate will teach and coach students in various sports and activities.
Responsibilities
- Teach and implement curriculum aligned with state standards.
- Coach athletic teams according to the NM PED guidelines.
- Maintain a safe and positive learning environment.
- Participate in professional development opportunities.
Requirements
- Licensed as an Athletic Coach by the NM PED.
- Current teaching certification preferred.
- Experience coaching and teaching in a K-12 setting.
Qualifications
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively with diverse student populations.
- Pass an FBI background check.
Skills
- Effective classroom management skills.
- Ability to plan and execute lesson plans.
- Knowledge of current educational trends and best practices.
