Assistant Coach - Boys Soccer - C Team #2

Requirements

• Meet district and WIAA requirements, including a valid background check.
• Head coaching applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
• Assistant coaching applicants must be at least 19 years of age.
• Hold a valid first aid and CPR card.
• Complete the KSD online application process, including professional reference forms.
• Annually complete the WIAA general rules clinic, the WIAA‑approved rule clinic for the sport being coached, and the KSD Vector Training requirements prior to the start of the sports season.
• Have successfully completed Concussion recognition and management with Return to Play Protocols training (Washington State law; renew every three years).
• Have successfully completed Sudden Cardiac Arrest Awareness and Training (Washington State law; renew every three years).
• Before the beginning of the third year of coaching, complete a district‑approved Coaching Principles training, the NFHS Coaches Fundamentals Course, all sessions of the WIAA Coaches School, or another WIAA‑ or district‑approved Coaches School; after initial completion, repeat this training every three years.
• Building athletic directors will monitor the applicant pool for open positions and contact applicants as needed.
• If hired, read and sign the KSD Coaches Manual.
