Assistant Children's House Manager

About the role

The Assistant Children's House Manager oversees the daily operations of the children's house, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment for the children. This role requires strong leadership skills and a passion for early childhood education.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily activities of the children's house staff
• Ensure compliance with all safety and health regulations
• Develop and implement educational programs aligned with the curriculum
• Maintain a positive and inclusive community among staff and families
• Collaborate with the Director to plan and execute special events and activities

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field
• At least 2 years of experience in a similar role
• Valid California Child Abuse and Neglect Reporting Training certificate
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends

Qualifications

• Experience working with children ages 2-6
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
