Duties
The ideal candidate will be responsible for:
- Creating a safe, engaging, and inclusive classroom environment that encourages children to explore and learn
- Developing and implementing lesson plans that cater to the diverse needs and interests of the children
- Building strong relationships with children, parents, and colleagues through effective communication and active listening
- Providing individualized support to children with diverse needs, and working collaboratively with the team to create an inclusive environment
- Staying up-to-date with curriculum developments and best practices in early childhood education
- Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe classroom environment that promotes children's learning and development
- Participating in staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities to enhance knowledge and skills
- Representing the school positively and professionally in interactions with parents, visitors, and the community
- Contributing to the overall success of the school by being a team player, and participating in school events and activities
Requirements
- High energy and enthusiasm for working with young children
- Strong oral and written communication skills and basic computer skills
- Able to work well with others and as part of a team
- Strong understanding of child development and its application in the classroom
- Excellent leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Must be 18 years or older
- Must clear a full Background check
- High School or Equivalent (minimum education)
