Assistant Camp Manager

About the role

The Assistant Camp Manager oversees daily operations at our summer camp, ensuring a safe and engaging environment for children aged 8-14. Key responsibilities include supervising staff, managing camp activities, and maintaining camper safety.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and train camp staff
• Plan and execute daily camp activities
• Maintain camper safety and emergency protocols
• Communicate effectively with parents and guardians

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field
• At least 2 years of supervisory experience
• First Aid/CPR certification
• Excellent communication and leadership skills

Qualifications

• Experience working with children
• Passion for outdoor activities
• Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and evenings

Skills

• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Effective problem-solving abilities
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
