About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and organized Assistant Business Office Manager to join our dynamic team at Spring Creek Healthcare Center in Perth Amboy, NJ. As a key member of our business office, you will play a vital role in overseeing daily operations, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and providing exceptional support to our management team.
Responsibilities
- Assist with the management of daily business office operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll processing
- Ensure timely and accurate submission of claims and other financial documents to government and private insurance providers
- Conduct financial analysis and provide recommendations to improve operational efficiency and reduce costs
- Develop and maintain relationships with insurance companies, vendors, and other external partners
- Collaborate with the business office team to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, such as HIPAA and Medicaid rules
- Provide exceptional customer service to patients, families, and visitors by addressing concerns and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner
- Participate in special projects and initiatives, such as our Mi Hogar Hispanic Program, to enhance the care and comfort of our residents
Requirements
- Strong organizational and analytical skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
