Assistant Branch Manager
About the role
The Assistant Branch Manager plays a crucial role in supporting the talent acquisition, development, and retention of branch sales and operations associates. They manage the branch in the absence of the Branch Manager, assist in developing strategies to drive branch sales and profitability, and coordinate procurement, inventory control, shipping and receiving, warehousing, and sales according to organizational policies.
Responsibilities
- Solve problems at the branch level, investigate customer complaints, and make necessary resource adjustments.
- Investigate inventory discrepancies and make adjustments as required.
- Manage operational branch level problems and support the counter and inside sales functions as necessary.
- Ensure all sales orders are billed correctly and in a timely manner.
- Schedule staff and analyze budgets and variances.
Requirements
This position requires 5+ years of experience and the ability to operate a company vehicle more than 20% of the average work week. An acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) report is a requirement. Forklift experience is preferred, as is knowledge of construction and industrial products. Spanish language proficiency is also preferred.
Qualifications
Preferred qualifications include experience with sales order computer software, preferably Oracle, and knowledge of construction and industrial products.
Skills
Strong leadership, problem-solving, and organizational skills are essential. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications is also required.

Pay
The pay range for this position is $61,300.00 - $88,900.00 annually. The actual salary may vary based on experience and qualifications.
Schedule
The position is based on-site and involves working in a field operations role.
