Responsibilities
- Deliver responsive, high-quality customer service via phone, email, and fax, ensuring timely resolution and follow-up.
- Build and maintain strong, solution-focused relationships with customers, vendors, and internal teams through effective collaboration.
- Support daily branch operations, including opening and closing, and assume leadership in the Branch Manager’s absence.
- Oversee accurate order entry, timely fulfillment, and high-quality customer service to ensure operational efficiency.
- Manage after-hours responsibilities and maintain clear, responsive communication with customers and team members.
- Champion a safe work environment by enforcing safety protocols and ensuring compliance with operational procedures.
- Ensure a clean, well-organized, and visually engaging sales floor, including shelving, endcaps, and displays.
- Manage merchandising standards by overseeing promotional materials and maintaining up-to-date product literature and catalogs.
- Maintain alertness and adhere to all safety-sensitive job requirements.
- Utilize company systems proficiently for data entry, communication, and operational tasks.
- Perform additional duties as assigned, with flexibility to adapt to evolving business needs.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required.
- 3+ years of experience in logistics or distribution, with 2+ years in a supervisory or team lead role.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and standard office technology.
- Strong leadership, communication, and operational skills in warehouse environments.
Physical Demands & Work Environment
- Full-time role (40+ hours/week) requiring regular physical activity and equipment operation.
- Frequent lifting (25–50 lbs., occasionally up to 100 lbs.) and pushing/pulling up to 300 lbs.
- Use of forklifts and material handling equipment, along with frequent bending, climbing, and reaching.
- Sustained physical movement and visual acuity required for safe and effective task execution.
