Assistant Branch Manager
About the role
Glass City Federal Credit Union is seeking an experienced, service-driven Assistant Branch Manager to help lead branch operations and deliver exceptional member experiences. In this key leadership role, you will partner with the Branch Manager to oversee daily operations, coach team members, support lending activities, and ensure compliance with all credit union policies and regulations. When the Branch Manager is absent, you will assume full responsibility for branch operations.
Responsibilities
- Partner with the Branch Manager to oversee daily branch operations.
- Coach and lead team members to deliver exceptional member service.
- Support lending activities and ensure compliance with credit union policies and regulations.
- Assume full responsibility for branch operations in the absence of the Branch Manager.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Minimum of 2 years of customer service experience, preferably within a financial institution.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, email systems, and general computer applications.
Qualifications
Preferred Qualifications:
- 18 to 24 months of supervisory or leadership experience.
- Notary Public license.
Schedule
- Full-Time
- Monday to Thursday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Friday: 7:00 AM – 6:00 PM
- Saturday: 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM
Schedule may include overtime and weekend availability.
