About the role

This position is primarily responsible for consistently meeting customer needs within the retail branch environment and assisting with the management of the branch and sales team. The incumbent will develop and maintain a personal referral network, execute branch leads according to consumer bank standards, perform customer transaction requests, and convert transactions into qualified sales or referral leads while adhering to all FNB policies, procedures, strategies, and Core Values.

Responsibilities

  • Promote the sales process through referral management, leveraging sales leads, outbound calling, and identifying customer financial needs.
  • Make appropriate recommendations in the selling and cross-selling of Bank products and services to meet customer banking needs in a courteous and professional manner.
  • Incorporate FNB digital products and services into customer interactions.
  • Use FNB-approved branch technology to input and maintain effective data quality for all referrals, customers, and applicants.
  • Responsible for the completion and lifecycle of all new and existing customer relationships according to consumer bank standards.
  • Assist with the management of daily sales activity through branch staff coaching, pre-shift sales huddles, and monitoring and measuring sales results.
  • Coordinate and complete operational duties, including scheduling work, providing direction, monitoring workflow, maintaining supplies, opening and closing the office, ordering and managing vault cash, and ensuring adherence to current policies and procedures.
  • Perform traditional teller transactions as needed.
  • Perform other related duties and projects as assigned.
  • Serve as a risk manager by understanding, reporting, responding to, managing, and monitoring daily risks as required by F.N.B. Corporation’s risk management program.
  • Adhere to regulatory laws and guidelines to achieve compliance.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED.
  • Minimum of 2 years of job-related experience.
  • Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System and Registry Identifier (preferred but will be required).

  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
  • Detail-oriented.
  • Proficiency in using a personal computer and job-related software:
    • MS Word – Basic Level.
    • MS Excel – Intermediate Level.
    • MS PowerPoint – Basic Level.
  • Experience in a related position.
  • Knowledge of banking policies, procedures, consumer products, and services.
  • Sales and customer service skills.

Physical Requirements

May require overnight travel for training purposes, particularly during onboarding. Some duties may extend beyond traditional office work.
