Responsibilities
- Assists Branch Manager in sales and sales management, customer service levels, and day-to-day operations of facility(s).
- Maintains knowledge of the bank's sales, service and operations.
- Acts as a teller, customer service representative, and supervises operations and sales, while providing Legendary Service to customers and employees.
- Serves as lead for staff by providing a positive example and attitude.
- Promotes bank's products and services to current and potential customers while providing education and leadership to staff.
- Ensures customer services are provided, opening accounts, providing customers with information, and resolving banking concerns.
- Acts as a resource to staff for operational and customer issue exercising discretion and good judgment.
- Responds to daily activities governed by the amount of customer traffic in the facility, customer and employee demands, and meetings and classes.
- Keeps Manager informed about activities in facility.
- Acts as a liaison between customers and loan officers.
- Fills in as a teller when needed.
- Helps customers, processes transactions, balances a teller drawer, assists tellers with problems and decision making, implements Teller referral model, and explains policies and procedures.
- Refers bank's products and services to current and potential customers.
- Serves as a lead for staff by opening and closing all types of accounts, selling, and referring customers to other departments and resolving customer complaints.
- Serves as a lead for staff by referring bank's products and services to current and potential customers.
- Oversees operations of branch including staffing, coaching, loss prevention, and development of knowledgeable well trained staff members.
- Monitors and maintains night depository agreements, monitors security and compliance issues, completes branch audits, and oversees information security.
- Understands role in case of robbery and knows proper post-robbery procedures.
- Ensures branch operations in accordance with branch control manual standards.
- Interacts with other bank employees to complete customer and employee requests.
- Provides a lead in accuracy, service, strong sales ability, and efficiency for others.
- Ensures compliance with all banking regulations which are applicable to the job, including Bank Secrecy Act and information security initiatives.
Qualifications
- Must have a good understanding of security and fraud protections, operations, and products and services.
