Starting salary: $55,000 (negotiable dependent upon experience).

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Branch Manager in managing the Branch Office to meet the financial services needs of customers in the community market area.
  • Implement strategies to achieve goals developed for the office as part of the Retail Banking Division's annual operating plan.
  • Ensure office compliance with operating policies and procedures and outside regulatory requirements.
  • Directly supervise assigned personnel, communicate with management and staff, and provide periodic reports.
  • Manage all inside and outside sales, branch functions, and business development activities to achieve growth, excellent customer service, and profitability.
  • Enhance the Bank’s image through proactive, customer-driven servicing to exceed customer expectations.
  • Conduct customer relationships to support the Bank’s overall marketing efforts.
  • Ensure customer retention and branch growth while meeting customer service needs and sales objectives.
  • Ensure customer service personnel are adequately trained in product knowledge and sales techniques.
  • Motivate and coach the branch team to develop performance in customer experience, sales goals, and leadership.
  • Serve as an active member of the office customer service team and generate deposits and loans to increase Bank profitability.
  • Ensure all office operations comply with Bank policies and procedures, including office balancing and vault cash control.
  • Maintain proper security, maintenance, safety, and cleanliness of the office; supervise opening and closing of the building and vault.
  • Perform alarm tests and conduct regular self-audits within the branch.
  • Prepare outgoing wires and place stops and holds on accounts as required.
  • Ensure timely review of branch reports for accuracy and submission of required reporting.
  • Establish Customer Information Files (CIFs) and open new accounts with appropriate identification.
  • Participate in and coordinate weekly branch meetings.
  • Actively engage in community organizations and activities to reflect favorably on the Bank.
  • Participate in branch-planned community events.
  • Implement strategies to achieve branch goals as established in the Retail Banking Division’s annual operating plan.
  • Assist in the development of the annual budget for the office and adhere to budget parameters.
  • Abide by laws and organizational policies to promote a harassment-free and non-discriminatory workplace.
  • Support risk management and regulatory compliance for the office and personnel.
  • Directly supervise assigned personnel, including:
    • Assist in the selection of new personnel.
    • Provide proper orientation and training for new personnel.
    • Review employee performance during probationary periods and on a regular basis thereafter.
    • Organize, schedule, and distribute work among assigned personnel.
    • Keep personnel informed of policies and procedures affecting their roles and encourage upward communication.
    • Administer personnel policies and procedures as established by Bank policy.
  • Communicate with the Branch Manager, other office managers, and staff to integrate goals and activities.
  • Provide periodic reports to the Branch Manager and other groups as required.

Requirements

  • Minimum of three (3) years of related experience.
  • Thorough knowledge of bank procedures, products, services, teller operations, cash, and ATM procedures.
  • Proficient PC skills and proficiency in English (speaking, writing, and reading).
  • Strong organizational, project management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to lift fifty (50) pounds of coin.

Pay

$55,000 yearly salary.
