Assistant Boys Volleyball Coach

Responsibilities

• Operate the volleyball program within the philosophy of the school corporation, Head Coach, and the IHSAA expectations.
• Responsible for the development of the varsity program and the feeder program.
• Responsible for all squad members from reporting time until departure from school grounds.
• Follow all guidelines and policies set forth by the school.
• Perform other duties as deemed necessary by the coach and the administration.

Qualifications

• The preferred candidate will be a licensed teacher.
• The preferred candidate will have experience working with high school aged student athletes.
• The preferred candidate has coaching and playing experience.
• The preferred candidate has successful coaching experience in either high school as the head coach or club volleyball.
• The preferred candidate will have strong character and have the ability to build relationships with players and parents.
• The preferred candidate will be able to collaborate with other sports and coaches.
• The preferred candidate will be available to start immediately following Board approval.
• The preferred candidate must have a willingness to develop a successful high school program and feeder system.
