Assistant Baker

About the role

Kneaders Bakery & Cafe is currently looking for a talented part-time Assistant Bread Baker.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate superhero abilities in the kitchen, following recipes and paying close attention to details to create one-of-a-kind breads.
• Lift large amounts of dough, flour, and other supplies weighing up to 50 lbs. daily.
• Work through change and be flexible while maintaining a keen eye on the baking process.
• Work afternoons, nights, and Sundays, with potential for overnight shifts during holiday seasons.

Requirements

• Proven track record of large-scale baking/pastry experience (preferred but not required).
• Formal baking/pastry education is a bonus.
• Compliance with local, state, and federal regulations for food handler & sanitation standards.

Qualifications

• Able to lift and move heavy items.
• Flexible schedule to accommodate afternoons, nights, and Sundays.
• At least 18 years of age.
