About the role
The Wyoming Attorney General's Office in Casper seeks an attorney to represent various licensing boards and commissions in prosecuting licensing and disciplinary matters before administrative tribunals and Wyoming courts.
Responsibilities
- Prepare pleadings, motions, and briefs.
- Perform discovery.
- Represent boards and commissions in administrative and judicial hearings.
- Participate in negotiations, public hearings, and client meetings.
- Represent licensing boards and commissions in cases on appeal to the Wyoming Supreme Court, and federal trial and appellate courts.
- Review rules and regulations.
- Track legislation to advise the Governor and agency clients.
Requirements
Prior legal experience is preferred but not required. Recent graduates or law clerks are eligible and encouraged to apply.
Qualifications
- Prioritized experience in administrative law.
Skills
The ideal candidate should feel comfortable speaking before courts and administrative tribunals, writing letters and briefs, and advocating clients' interests.

Salary is commensurate with relevant legal experience.
