Job Responsibilities
- Assists in the daily operation of two Athletic training facilities.
- Provides proper medical care, prevention, treatment, and rehabilitation of athletic injuries.
- Assumes primary team assignments including men’s lacrosse, volleyball, field hockey, women’s basketball, men and women’s tennis, men and women’s track and field, and acro and tumbling.
- May assist with coverage of other sports at times during the year.
- Required to travel with in-season sport assignments.
Minimum And Additional Requirements
- A bachelor's degree in Athletic training.
- NATABOC certification and eligibility for State of South Carolina licensure.
- CPR/AED certification.
- A valid driver's license and safe driving history.
- Strong skills in providing excellent customer service and strong ethics.
Additional Comments
- Must have the ability to communicate effectively with faculty, staff, students, and other campus constituents.
- Must understand current athletic training techniques in recognizing, treating, and rehabilitating athletic injuries.
- Experience working with a variety of sports is beneficial.
- Experience working as a member of a comprehensive sports medicine team is crucial.
- Knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations is required.
