Principal Responsibility

  • Teaching Responsibilities:
    • Teaching doctoral level clinical psychology coursework, preference: candidates who can teach DBT courses.
    • Candidates who can teach courses in Severe and Persistent Mental Illness (SMI).
    • Candidates who can teach assessments, specifically: MMI-3 and Rorschach-Exner system.
  • Academic advisement
  • Engagement in departmental activities and events
  • Clinical supervision
  • Dissertation mentoring

About the role

The position involves teaching and supervising research in PsyD course sequences.

Responsibilities

Participate in department- and university-level committees, establish an extramurally funded research program that involves students, and supervise student practicum experiences.

  • Have a PhD or equivalent in psychology.
  • HAVE A NEW YORK STATE LICENSE IN PSYCHOLOGY.
