Principal Responsibility
- Teaching responsibilities:
- Candidates who can teach DBT courses.
- Candidates who can teach courses in Severe and Persistent Mental Illness (SMI).
- Candidates who can teach assessments, specifically: MMI-3 and Rorschach-Exner system.
- Academic advisement
- Engagement in departmental activities and events
- Clinical supervision
- Dissertation mentoring
Qualifications
- PhD or equivalent in psychology
- New York State License in Psychology
- Strong record of excellence in teaching and scholarly activity, including peer-reviewed research and grant writing
- Commitment to free and open discourse as a core value of learning
- Preference given to applicants with expertise in cognitive-behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, and/or transdiagnostic approaches
- Preference given to applicants with expertise in severe and persistent mental illness
